In over ten years as a STEM Advocate, Leader, and Innovator, Elizabeth has tackled various topics in different areas of interest.
As part of the STEAM Career Spotlight series by Ed Emporia, Elizabeth had the privilege of speaking with the students of KNUST Senior High School on the topic "Inspiring the Next Generation of STEAM Professionals". This monthly program is designed to engage and educate Ghanaian youth about careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), with a focus on real-world applications and locally raised role models. The session provided a platform for students to ask questions, gain insights into diverse career pathways, and discover the immense opportunities available to them within the STEAM industries. The talk was met with enthusiasm, and many students expressed a renewed sense of purpose in pursuing their passion for science and technology.
Elizabeth had the honor of presenting at the Professional Leadership Series (PLS), organized by The Archer Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). The session was centered on the topic, "MEANING - What’s Next After Our Material Needs Are Met?", inspired by the book "A Whole New Mind" by Daniel Pink. As part of the PLS, Elizabeth led an interactive discussion with graduate students, exploring the deeper questions of purpose and meaning that transcend material success. Her presentation challenged students to reflect on the human need for fulfillment beyond financial or physical needs, highlighting the importance of intellectual agility, creativity, and emotional intelligence in leadership.The seminar encouraged students to challenge traditional notions of success, considering how leadership and meaning intersect in shaping their careers.
Elizabeth shared her insights on "Navigating the Process of Choosing a Research Interest" for graduate school with about 2,000 attendees from diverse backgrounds during an event organized by the Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In her talk, Elizabeth provided valuable guidance on how to identify a research interest that aligns with one’s academic and professional goals, emphasizing the importance of passion, curiosity, and practical application in the research selection process. Her session offered practical tips and strategies for graduate students to approach their research journey with clarity and purpose.
In a recent address at the RPI Professional Leadership Series hosted by The Archer Center, Elizabeth highlighted the importance of understanding one’s driving force or "why" behind daily decisions and actions. Over six weeks, the series delved into crucial leadership topics, including Clarifying Your Why, How to Sell an Idea, Why You Sometimes Need to Reinvent the Wheel, and Personality Traits. Elizabeth's presentation helped students reflect on their motivations, offering valuable insights into how understanding their "why" can enhance their leadership and decision-making abilities in both professional and personal contexts.
Her talk focused on unveiling the inherent power within each woman and emphasizing the transformative potential that lies therein. y fostering belief in their individual and collective abilities, Elizabeth believes women can effectively address community challenges and contribute to creating a better world for themselves and future generations.
In a recent speaking engagement, Elizabeth had the privilege of delivering a talk on Personal Development to members of the CCR Diasporan Network. Her presentation covered insightful topics including Understanding Self-Development, Practical Ways to Embark on Self-Development, Personal Branding, and Tips for Continuous Self-Improvement.
She addressed participants at a Study Abroad Seminar specifically tailored for the alumni of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, her alma mater. The primary objective was to enlighten the alumni about various opportunities and assist them in securing admissions to universities with tuition-free programs.

During the 6th Women In Engineering Forum, Elizabeth delivered a talk on "Choosing Science and Pursuing Engineering." Her objective was to motivate high school students to pursue STEM subjects and establish careers in these domains. The event was graced by eminent personalities, including the first female engineer of Ghana, the female President of the Ghana Institution of Engineering, and the founding President of Women In Engineering, Ghana.
